Metro Filing Services, Inc. is a locally owned company serving exclusively the legal community for their court filing and process serving needs in the Philadelphia and surrounding area. We are strategically located in Center City to assist the legal profession in filing and retrieving documents from the various courthouses located in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties.

Founded over two decades ago, our continual mission is to assist lawyers, paralegals and other supporting staff in the preparation of an accurate procedural filing of documents.  One of our original objectives was to offer professional and personalized services to the legal community and not compete with courier services.  Prior to filing your documents, our experienced staff reviews every document to reduce the risk of rejection by the court because of improper form. Our review process helps reduce the delay due to a document rejection. Every member of our staff is equipped with state of the art communication equipment so the vast knowledge of each court’s unique rules, procedures and filing fees are instantly available to our clients.

The personal service philosophy is also part of our process serving. Process serving includes serving of summons, complaints, subpoenas, deputized service, and other documents. We do not subcontract our work to other filing services and therefore we only process serve in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. Our process servers work for our clients exclusively. The process servers are the same individuals that our clients see in their offices daily or are filing their documents in various courthouses. Dealing with law firms on a daily basis helps these individuals understand the importance of quality process serving. In addition to providing accurate, rapid response time in “making service”, we have an extremely high success rate in “making service”.

When comparing us with competitors take notice that we file all documents in the Philadelphia courthouses the same day that we timely receive them. There are exceptions such as courthouse closings or courthouse bulk filing procedures. We are unique in that our clients receive a pick-up slip to help us track your documents and also gives the clients a record of what documents they have requested us to file/process. Lastly, we go to the surrounding county courthouses on a daily basis.
